Common Technical Problems
The internal components of curved TVs are similar to other LED/LCD TVs, leading to shared technical issues:
- No Picture or Black Screen: This is a frequent problem. The TV might have sound and backlights that turn on, but no image. A common cause is a failure in the mainboard or the T-con board.
- Backlight Failure: This often results in a dark or dim picture, or one side of the screen appearing darker than the other. Replacing the LED backlight strips is a common repair for this issue.
- Power Issues: The TV may not turn on at all, keep restarting, or the power indicator light might blink. This can stem from issues with the power supply board or the mainboard.
- Lines on the Screen or Picture Distortion: Vertical or horizontal lines on the display usually indicate a problem with the screen panel itself, the T-con board, or the mainboard.
